Get Access¶
Getting access to eodc’s data and services starts with a free eodc account. Some datasets and services additionally need approval.
1. Create an account¶
Register for a free eodc account:
You can then sign in with this account in eodc Services such as JupyterHub.
2. Access data¶
The metadata of all collections can be searched without an account, see the data catalogue in eodc Orbit. Downloading data depends on the dataset:
Copernicus Sentinel data (Sentinel-1, Sentinel-2, Sentinel-3 and Sentinel-5P): your eodc account is enough. Previews remain visible without an account.
Restricted datasets: these need approval. Use the Request access button on the dataset page in eodc Orbit, sign in with your eodc account and submit the form. After approval, sign in again so that your new access takes effect.
3. Request access to services¶
An account alone does not include access to restricted services. Write an email to support@eodc.eu and let us know:
the username or email address of your eodc account,
which services you would like to use,
a short description of your use case and your organisation.
Our support team will get back to you and set up your access.
